Our 12K powerhouse counter-attacker’s stick. This has been designed from the get-go to deliver stinging hitting power off both sides, make long range overheads easier, increase your effectiveness in block tackles and still provide a velvet first touch. YARI ( Japanese for ‘spear’ ) introduces the Soft Mitt micro-concave ( 0.25mm) control surface and Octa-Grip handle which is designed to maximise backhand presentation of surface area and impact efficacy through the bevels. It also enables subtle wrist positioning for drag flicking and long bombs. This evolved release incorporates an EVA under sleeve beneath the grip to improve vibration dampening, integration of new Formula Z nano-epoxy in our layup to uplift stiffening and longevity and our new integrated OCTA-zorb cap fitted seamlessly to our octagonal handle.

Unlike mainstream 3K and 4K carbon fibre sticks, which use narrower, more tightly woven tows that can create heavier resin loading and less uniform energy return, our 18K and 24K spread‑tow carbon lay‑ups maximize surface area while minimising voids in the laminate. The broader, flatter fibres distribute impact forces more evenly across the shaft, improving torsional stability, reducing micro‑cracking under repeated stress, and delivering a cleaner, more instantaneous energy release through the ball. This architecture also allows higher strength‑to‑weight ratios, so players experience exceptional stiffness and responsiveness without excess mass, translating into faster swing speeds, sharper ball control, and a stick profile that stays true deep into its lifecycle. In durability testing, higher‑K spread‑tow fabrics have shown greater resistance to delamination and fibre fracture under cyclic loading than conventional 3K/4K weaves, extending usable performance life (Stanley Sports, 2024).

It’s fair to say, VOITTO is known in its own start-up kind of way for exquisite ball carrying sticks but have, until now, not really provided for the true counter puncher. With the YARI, we hope to have addressed this. Another of our original moulds ( we dont just lift the big sellers off big incumbents we go through the time and expense to leave our own mark), the YARI is well balanced ( not head heavy ) and loaded with vibration dampening features that are requied of 12, 18 and 24K high tensile carbon. Not originally positioned as our apex drag flicking model ( that is underway in a collaboration with legend Hayden Shaw ), it can deliver superbly for the task at hand.
