Our top-of-the-line drag flicking & key defender weapon of choice with smart-design input from BlackSticks defender and drag flicking legend Hayden Shaw. The SENSHI (Japanese: ‘ warrior’) is constructed of 18K spread tow carbon to maximise power:weight output and vouchsafe longevity. This evolved release incorporates an EVA under sleeve beneath the grip to improve vibration dampening, integration of new Formula Z nano-epoxy in our layup to uplift stiffening and longevity and our new integrated shock- absorbing OCTA-zorb cap fitted seamlessly to our octagonal handle.
Unlike mainstream 3K and 4K carbon fibre sticks, which use narrower, more tightly woven tows that can create heavier resin loading and less uniform energy return, our 18K and 24K spread‑tow carbon lay‑ups maximize surface area while minimising voids in the laminate. The broader, flatter fibres distribute impact forces more evenly across the shaft, improving torsional stability, reducing micro‑cracking under repeated stress, and delivering a cleaner, more instantaneous energy release through the ball. This architecture also allows higher strength‑to‑weight ratios, so players experience exceptional stiffness and responsiveness without excess mass, translating into faster swing speeds, sharper ball control, and a stick profile that stays true deep into its lifecycle. In durability testing, higher‑K spread‑tow fabrics have shown greater resistance to delamination and fibre fracture under cyclic loading than conventional 3K/4K weaves, extending usable performance life (Stanley Sports, 2024).

Another of our original moulds, the SENSHI structural highlights include the extended PPG scoop for reducing torque and optimising re-bound energy; the mitt - an ever so slight as in micro-concave groove ( vs old school boomerang indents ) for optimising close control and the maxxed out new Hammer OVERTIME backhand zone, all work in concert to deliver crisp power and soft control off both sides. Subtelty of angled delivery is assisted by the OCTA handle and the new GeckoGrip works nicely with the EVA under-sleeve and piezo-fibre enriched handle to dampen vibrations.
Light, powerful with crisp delivery the SENSHI also has decent touch and feel.
